that should be the mood, but i cannot customize.

repaired iPod load-up continues.
prior to its first incarnation i was attempting to slim it to a sampling of most of my library. i am adding songs in 'best of' groupings. these groupings are to increase my iTunes library playlists by 60%. scrolling through them?and i've just begun - is taking some time.

already some artists are topping out at 40 songs and that is way too much. i believe i can get 60+ artists with a decent enough representation(6-12 songs) and then my mixes on a 15GB. i should leave about 2GB for data and new artist/albums.

my current listenings:
depeche mode's new album; their best in 10 years.

my mix of the crüxshadows. marilyn my bitterness is my new fav from them. seeing it live clinched it.

she wants revenge debut album.

rediscovering chilly gonzales.

and i heard new order's morning night and day in quizno's yesterday and that inspired me to load their new one up.

while on the topic of music, i realize tori amos was very much a period of my life. her new work is largely unaffecting. but i have embraced her once again to see how she stands up after a long absence.

non music matters: bratislava will be vicariously enjoyed. i am saddened i cannot go.

my hellboy collection has returned after an almost year and a half loan. though i am currently rereading the sandman series. i must replace two of the sandman books that never made their way back into my collection.

i am taking care of my boss's betta.
over the holiday will suck.
better not die.
