SCORE!: six degrees of me

first burst of excitement on may levels:

6) i scored tix to see new order in NYC; a show that sold out in 20 mins.

5) despite this weekend's and my personal death dealings, i reunited with family which i cherish although funerals are not the ideal place to catch up.

4) moved by my cousin's wife dying of lung cancer — as a non smoker — it has made me aware how little funding it gets. NOTE To Mr Peter Jennings: you got the wrong type of cancer to contract as it is LEAST funded far and away behind prostate, breast, ovarian and skin cancers. But maybe you will bring awareness to it.
FYI: the ribbon for lung cancer is colorless in silent protest as there is no identification color like pink for breast, etc.

3) after this coming thursday, the NHL regular season would have become the playoffs; evidently i am to play ice hockey which would be a first. but after watching "mites on ice" and a women's league, i know someone can still skate circle around me

2) 'sin city' did not disappoint. a brilliant comic-to-film adaption that is by far the best adaption of any comic-based media. the cast, the artistic direction and the "T&A" is all that i expected and was delivered.

1) most importantly, my 2002 has returned. i drove it home last night, the first time in over 3 weeks. i actually kissed it.
