when feeling Excited

so i finished 'bones of giants'; at a embarrassingly slow pace, despite it being a good read. crapper read only, not enough dedicated time. it started out well in Poland then....slowed the pace when i returned.

i mention this 'cause the into to it features a samii man discovering the remains of Thor, the thunder god in Northern Sweden. when the investigation starts, the remains are constantly struck by lightning. and that pretty much describes the last 4 hours here as rolling thunder and often soundless lightning illuminate the sky.

very few i know would appreciate much less watch it and those who would might read this. it was excellently timed to the scene in clint eastwood's unforgiven which i happened to watch when not appreciating the real thing. the scene at the end when clint returns...aside from ben & dalia's wedding there has never been more perfectly timed lightning and thunder to set the mood.
