last night i found resurrection.
i was not looking for it, though i discovered it.
i know of it's origin: 101.8 miles away in baltimore. i frequented it often.
Resurrection
During the fermentation of the first batch of this Abbey-style dubbel, the yeast "died" and was "resurrected" by brewer Chris Cashell. This beer is not unlike those that certain Belgian monks have been brewing since the 16th century. Made with five types of barley malt and lots of sugar, this beer is quite strong and flavorful, without being too sweet.

for my time in "the city that reads", this was one of my comforts to banish long commutes, shit landlords and evil cockroaches ("the city that breeds" more like it)
a true joy and beautiful in appearance?a rich amber color. and the taste....
future nights of drunkeness await.
truly, a resurrection.
